SS Oriana (1960–1986)
Built in 1960 by Vickers‑Armstrongs in the UK. Originally an ocean liner for the Orient Line, later P&O. Nicknamed “The Queen of the Sea” for her speed and distinctive funnel. Served on the UK–Australia route before transitioning to cruising. Retired in 1986 and later used as a floating attraction in China until scrapped in 2005
This spoon is from Stuart by Perfection Plate collection from the mid-20th century through the 1980s.
